Alisa Nishanova studied in the classical division at Northern Ballet School and was later accepted onto the third course at Ballet West Scotland, graduating with honors. She holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Professional Dance and has performed supporting and lead roles with International Ballet Theatre, Kyiv Opera Theatre, and, most recently, State Ballet Theatre of Ukraine. She has performed a wide repertoire of ballets over her career. Beyond the stage, Alisa has extensive teaching experience with students all over the world. She has taught masterclasses and workshops from Seattle to London, and she coaches privately to prepare students for auditions, summer programs, and performances.
