Alena Yelyzarova graduated from the Odesa State Ballet School in Ukraine as a ballet artist and pedagogue, and she later received her master’s degree in Classical Ballet Directorship at the Kyiv National University of Theatre. In 2005, Alena became a principal dancer at the Odesa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre and has been recognized for her exceptional performances throughout the years. Her repertoire includes the Nutcracker (Sugar Plum), Don Quixote (Kitri), Sleeping Beauty (Aurora), Giselle (Giselle), lead roles in Walpurgisnacht, Paquita, and more. Outside of Odesa, Alena has performed as a principal guest artist in European and American companies, and she has been sharing her talent as a teacher since 2020.
